Eligibility
Criteria:
Educational
Qualification: (As on 01.01.2024)

The candidates
must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized
Board/ University.
Age
Limit: (As on 01.01.2024)
1.
Constable (GD) – 18-23 years as on 01-01-2024. Candidates
should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2001 and later than 01-01-2006 in
normal course
The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC and
for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit

Details:

Constable (GD) – Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700-69,100).
Selection
Process:
SSC may follow the following process to select the candidates.

Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical
Efficiency Test (PET) |

2.
Medical Examination and Document Verification |
|
Computer
Based Examination (CBE) will be conducted by the Commission in English, Hindi
and in 13 Regional Languages viz. (i) Assamese, (ii) Bengali, (iii) Gujarati,
(iv) Kannada, (v) Konkani, (vi) Malayalam, (vii) Manipuri, (viii) Marathi,
(ix) Odia, (x) Punjabi, (xi) Tamil, (xii) Telugu and (xiii) Urdu. |

Center In Tamilnadu: Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem,
Tiruchirapalli, Tirunelveli, Vellore & Puducherry |
Application Fee:
– Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs One hundred only).
–
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled
Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from
payment of fee.
–
Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa,
Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards.
– Fee can be paid by the
candidates up to 01-01-2024 (2300 Hours) through online mode only. There will
be no option to pay fee through any other mode
